Dr. Raouf Abdelrahman Fadel is a Professor of Anatomy at Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Bahrain and Suez Canal University (SCU), Egypt. I was a former Chairperson of the Anatomy Department and the Musculoskeletal educational unit at AGU. Dr. Raouf graduated from Faculty of Medicine Cairo University, Egypt. His Master’s degree in Anatomy was from SCU and his PhD was in Teratology under the supervision of Professor TVN Persaud, Manitoba University, Canada. In addition, he received his Master’s degree in Rheumatology and Physical Medicine from Cairo University. Dr. Raouf taught anatomy and embryology both in traditional and PBL systems. His teaching experience in anatomy, clinical anatomy, embryology and teratology exceeds more than 40 years in Egypt, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. His major area of interest in research is in the field of teratology. He is currently in the process of making a team for research in teratology and transferring his experience to his junior colleagues.
