Vision

To become the most reliable and trusted professional clinical research group in the GCC region and achieve premier status, working collaboratively and effectively as researchers and clinicians in order to advance scientific knowledge and clinical care.

Objectives

  • To become a recognized regional center of excellence in clinical research and address disease and wellness specific to the GCC population;
  • To develop clinical research activities and provide clinical research management support;
  • To provide training to healthcare professionals as part of its course offerings;
  • To contribute to strengthening current rules and regulations in the GCC region
  • To collaborate with the National Health Regulatory Authorities to advance clinical research in the GCC region 

Activities

  • Diploma in Clinical Research
    AGU’s Clinical Research Center, in collaboration with the University of Maryland, offers the Diploma in Clinical Research intended for clinicians – investigators, clinical research nurses and research support staff, ethics committee members, and clinical research professionals.

     

  • Clinical Research and Trials
    Collaborate with leading pharma companies in sponsored research in addition to providing expertise and support in investigator-initiated trials.

     

  • CME & training programs
    Support clinical research training for clinicians and staff by providing training and workshop programs on:
    1. Scientific Writing
    2. Research Methodology
    3. Clinical Trial Management: Clinical research coordinator, project manager, etc
