
The Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre at AGU Hosts Saudi Board Examination in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre at Arabian Gulf University (AGU) recently hosted the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for the Saudi Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The examination saw the participation of 18 medical practitioners, all of whom are residents in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology programme. The assessment was conducted across six rooms under the supervision of six examiners. This event underscores the university’s steadfast commitment to advancing medical education within the GCC member states.
On the occasion, Dr Reem Al Ansari, Head of the Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre, highlighted the centre’s dedication to providing essential resources and expertise to bolster medical education in the region, ensuring exemplary training for healthcare professionals.
“The Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre remains committed to collaborating with medical education programmes across the region, in line with the directives of the University President. The centre will continue to serve as a pivotal entity in enhancing medical education through the continuous development of knowledge and skills for medical and nursing students, as well as physicians across various specialties,” she added.
