The Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Centre at Arabian Gulf University (AGU) organised a workshop for members of the academic faculty at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. 

The workshop focused on the optimal use of the centre’s platform dedicated to analysing data and submitting vital academic reports. The workshop also addressed analysis of students' evaluation of the quality of education and the quality of educational support services in record time.

The Director of the Academic Accreditation Unit at the Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Centre, Dr Adel Kamal, explained that this digital platform is a big move towards improving performance in various fields of academic work within the university. 

“The workshop comes within the framework of the university's on-going efforts to enhance the quality of education and achieve academic excellence through digital transformation and innovation in data analysis processes, which enhances the ability to make transparent and informed decisions,” he pointed out.

In order to make reports available at any time and place, the platform provides interactive analysis, decision support, efficiency improvement, user-friendly interface, in addition to advanced graphic visualisation and performance indicators. Its goal is to save time and effort and enhance strategic decisions, in line with the university's commitment to digital transformation and raising the quality of education.

The workshop participants stressed the importance of this initiative and its role in enhancing the university's position as a leading educational institution. It’s worth noting that the workshop reviewed the stages of developing the platform, starting from data collection to its accurate and effective analysis, which contributes to improving the process of making academic and administrative decisions.
