The Institutional Communication Center at Arabian Gulf University received students participating in the “Injaz Bahrain Summer Camp,” organized by “Injaz Bahrain,” with the aim of supporting educational experiences, developing youth skills, introducing students to academic and professional paths, and enriching their knowledge through interactive learning experiences. The students met with His Excellency the University President, Dr. Saad bin Saud Al-Fahaid, who welcomed them and took commemorative photos with them.
The visit began with a reception for the students, during which they were introduced to the university’s academic programs, facilities, laboratories, and educational centers. They also watched an introductory video highlighting the development of medical education at the Medical Skills and Simulation Center and its role in advancing health education and training using the latest technologies. They also toured its modern facilities and learned about the training environment it provides, which simulates real-world clinical settings, thereby contributing to the preparation of healthcare professionals according to the highest international standards.
The students were divided into groups to participate in a series of interactive educational stations, supervised by a number of faculty members and specialists at the university. The stations included learning the basics of examining children, vision and hearing tests using medical devices, wound dressing and first aid skills, and examining heart and lung sounds using medical simulators, in addition to learning methods for examining newborns and measuring their growth using advanced simulation models.
The program concluded with a closing session during which the students participating in the camp shared their views on the experience, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in developing their academic and professional awareness, as well as the benefits they gained from this enriching experience.
This visit is part of a series of activities included in the “Injaz Bahrain Summer Camp,” organized by Injaz Bahrain, with the aim of enabling students to explore future fields of study, enhance their leadership and personal skills, and connect them with inspiring educational and professional environments, thereby helping to prepare a generation capable of meeting the demands of the future and contributing to the nation’s development.
