The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) is participating in the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference. Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the conference themed "Beyond Readiness" commenced on Sunday morning and will run until April 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Riyadh. This prestigious event coincides with the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx), organised by the Saudi Ministry of Education. Together, these events comprise the region's foremost educational platform aimed at unlocking human potential in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

The AGU delegation is led by His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the University, and includes Dr Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al Otaibi, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, along with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students. The university is showcasing its achievements and initiatives in education and scientific research at a dedicated pavilion, highlighting its cutting-edge services in innovation, AI, and digital education.

Visitors to AGU's interactive pavilion will have the opportunity to engage with university representatives to learn about the university's distinguished academic and research programs. The exhibition is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In conjunction with the conference, Dr Al Fuhaid emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts and global dialogue to enhance the future of human capabilities and foster international cooperation in exchange of knowledge. He noted the significance of global partnerships in improving educational quality and competitiveness on a worldwide scale.

Dr Al Fuhaid stated that bringing together Saudi, Gulf, and international universities creates a platform for exchanging ideas and insights regarding the best practices in innovative educational programs and technologies, including AI. This initiative aims to open new avenues for investment in the education sector across the Gulf.

The conference is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors, including experts and specialists in human capacity development. More than 300 international speakers, including thought leaders, experts, and policymakers from various sectors, will share best practices and inspiring success stories from around the globe.

The conference and exhibition will feature technical presentations, interactive workshops, and discussion panels with a curated group of local and international experts, focusing on knowledge exchange, the future of education, and skill development in the Kingdom and the region.
