Bio

   Dr. Amina Abdulrahman Ismaeel is an Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Pathology at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Arabian Gulf University (AGU). She earned her MD from AGU with an excellent grade and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford, obtaining both a DPhil in Medical Sciences and an MSc in Integrated Immunology. Her professional interests span pathology, immunology, and medical education, with a strong focus on innovation in teaching and mentorship. Dr. Amina’s research centers on the immunopathogenesis of dermatologic diseases, the pathogenesis of cancer with emphasis on vascular microinvasion, and human papillomavirus (HPV)–associated cervical pathology. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and remains actively involved in curriculum development and community engagement initiatives.
