His Excellency Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, met with Prof. Omar bin Awadh Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), and Board Members representing the GCC countries. The meeting took place during the Board of Trustees meeting in the Kingdom of Bahrain and was attended by His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the University.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education commended the significant efforts made by the Board of Trustees of AGU in shaping policies and approving plans and programmes that have successfully guided the university to achieve prominent accomplishments in the higher education sector. He appreciated the role of the university’s president and its academic and administrative staff in developing the university system and enhancing its outputs to become competitive at the global level.
