His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of Arabian Gulf University (AGU), commended the profound wisdom and prudent directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. He praised the continuous efforts of Gulf governments in effectively managing the current phase to ensure the security and safety of citizens and residents.

His Excellency affirmed that the safety of students and university staff remains a top priority, aligning with the GCC vision which places human security and safety at the forefront of national concerns. He also praised the swift and responsible measures taken by the Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Higher Education Council, to ensure the safety of students and faculty and administrative staff across all educational institutions.

Dr Al Fuhaid noted that the well-organised transition to remote learning and the activation of emergency response plans exemplify a high level of preparedness and the capacity to sustain the educational process efficiently while reassuring students and parents through prompt communication and transparent implementation procedures.

His Excellency also commended the exceptional preparedness and effective response of Bahrain’s relevant authorities, especially the Ministries of Interior and Defence, for their relentless efforts in safeguarding lives and property, and strengthening community security within the Gulf.

He concluded, "We thank Almighty God for blessing GCC countries with wise leadership that places human security and safety at the core of its priorities and dedicates efforts to the advancement and prosperity of its nations. We pray to the Almighty to protect the Gulf nations, their leadership, and their people, and to perpetuate the blessings of security, stability, and progress upon them."
