Associate Professor I'm working as Associate prof of internal medicine at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Bahrain. Previously, an Assistant Prof. & Head of Internal Medicine department at Qena Faculty of Medicine- South Valley University (SVU), Egypt. My subspecialties and main interest are Gastrointestinal Endoscopy & Hepatology reflected through my work in the field of interventional Endoscopy (upper & lower, band ligation, polypectomy, APC and gastric balloon application). I am leading the Fibroscan unit with special research interest in NAFLD and prediction of esophageal varices. I have great interest to strategic planning and internationalization of higher education. In this frame, I had the honor to coordinate the project ''DAAD Research Ambassador''.  To facilitate mutual academic cooperation and activities between German and Egyptian Universities.
