The Board of Trustees at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) approved the establishment of a Medical Skills & Simulation Center (MSSC) as a pillar of its medical education. As such, the center would foster the educational process as it has the flexibility to uphold and bolster the requirements of the medical curriculum for all study levels at the College of Medicine and Medical Science (CMMS) of AGU.
Medical Skills & Simulation Center is an American Heart Association accredited International Training Center for the Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support courses. The American Heart Association is the recognized leader in resuscitation science, and BLS, ACLS and PALS education in the United States.
n the Medical skills and simulation center, we have High Fidelity Simulators like I-Stan for medicine and surgery simulation sessions, Lucina feto-maternal simulator for obstetrics and gynecology sessions, and Baby-sim and Luna for Pediatrics and neonatology types of part task trainers, which help significantly in single skills operation.
