The MBA program of the French Arabian Business School is designed and executed jointly with the ESSEC Business School (Ecole supeure des sciences conomiques et commerciales) in France through a special agreement, with two MBA certificates awarded by AGU and ESSEC. ESSEC is a European leader in global management training. It is ranked 4th in Europe and 1st in France. It is reputed for its international orientation with partnerships with the best universities worldwide. The school relies on teaching methods focused on developing everyone's creativity and critical thinking skills.


The AGU-ESSEC MBA program
The AGU-ESSEC MBA program sets itself apart from other regional MBA programs through its unique combination of core courses and tracks (PPP and Utility Management) designed to meet regional needs.
The program offers a dynamic learning environment delivered by AGU and ESSEC faculty experts. The duration of the program is 18 months and includes a balanced mix of theory and practice through appropriately sequenced individual courses of instruction. Participants in the MBA learn from their peers and faculty. The learning environment is dynamic, participatory, and application-oriented.
The MBA Methodology

The MBA Courses
The MBA program of study consists of fundamental courses and “differentiating” courses. The fundamental ones are courses that any MBA student must master—these include core courses like finance, accounting, strategy, marketing, and project management.
The differentiating courses, which set them apart from other MBA programs in the region, are divided into two clusters: the first deals with the digital revolution (5 courses), and the second with courses that are pertinent to the region (5 courses).

Project Management and Strategic Planning Courses

In the different MBA courses, students' knowledge, cognitive skills, interpersonal skills, responsibilities, communications and numerical skills are evaluated using various assessment methods.

The program features residency in Paris. During this residency, held at the Paris Campus of ESSEC, students attend classes and seminars and visit leading companies and organizations.
The program is designed to include 40 credit hours of instruction from all business-related areas. This is broken down into 36 credit hours of coursework divided into 32 modules, totaling 576 contact hours, with the addition of a 4-credit-hour consulting project. The program features residency held at ESSE campuses in Paris. During this residency, students engage in classes and seminars and visit notable companies and organizations.
