Dr. Manal Othman received her Medical and MS degrees from Assiut university, Egypt and PhD from University of Louisville, USA. Additionally, she had post-doctoral research positions from University of Louisville and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Dr. Manal has teaching experience in Anatomy (gross anatomy, histology and embryology). She worked in Assiut University since 1995 teaching medical, nursing and pharmacy students. She joined Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain in 2013, where she completed her career in teaching Anatomical Sciences. Additionally, she is the chair of the CNS unit in the college. Dr. Manal’s research interests include health-related topics such as neuroscience, diabetes, developmental biology, stem cell research, animal models of disease and regenerative medicine, where she and her research team, have several publications in esteemed high impact journals. Dr. Manal has built her models after years of experience in research and teaching, in the various academic institutions that she worked with.
