Dr. Maha Bint Abdullah AlSulaiman has dedicated her career to serving her homeland, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf region through various roles. Currently on secondment as an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, she continues her professional journey with passion. She has held prominent leadership and academic positions in the Saudi Ministry of Education and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, including Deputy Minister for Educational Programs and Director General of Special Education. She has also served on several boards, such as the Authority for People with Disabilities, King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba", and the Family Affairs Council. In academia, she held leadership roles at Princess Nourah University, including Dean of the College of Education, Acting Dean of Home Economics, Dean of Development and Skills Enhancement, and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. Beginning her career as a teacher for students with learning disabilities, she holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s in Special Education from Arabian Gulf University, and a Bachelor’s from King Saud University. She has enriched her leadership skills through international programs, including INSEAD's Executive Leadership Program and Harvard's Dean Training Program.
