     Prof. Diaa Rizk received his training and qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and General Surgery at Ain Shams University Hospitals, Egypt and Teaching hospitals in UK. Prof. Rizk worked as Assistant/Associate/Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University.  Was Policy Advisor and Medical Consultant to Canadian Continence Foundation. Published 170 research articles and 2 book chapters and co-edited “Insights into incontinence and the pelvic floor”. He was Editor for the International Urogynecology Journal and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Urogynecology (H index is 38). He has organized postgraduate courses in urogynecology for International Continence Society [ICS] and International Urogynecological Association [IUGA], and contributed to clinical service in Urogynaecology, development of residency programs and public education on incontinence. Prof. Rizk sat in regional and international committees for IUGA, ICS, FIGO and WHO. Co-founded the Mediterranean Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Society and is now President.
