The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) is the sole nationally recognized accrediting body for educator preparation in the United States and internationally. CAEP accreditation ensures that educator preparation providers meet rigorous standards of quality and produce competent, caring, and qualified educators.

Arabian Gulf University's Department of Special Education has received CAEP accreditation for its graduate programs, confirming that the department meets the highest standards in preparing professionals to serve individuals with disabilities and giftedness across P-12 settings.
