
Under the Patronage of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister: The Arabian Gulf University Celebrates Graduation of New Cohort

Manama – Arabian Gulf University: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) will celebrate the graduation of a new cohort of students for the academic year 2024/2025.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Exhibition World Bahrain and will witness the graduation of 218 students, including 179 recipients of the Doctor of Medicine degree, and 39 graduates holding postgraduate diplomas, master's, and doctoral degrees across various disciplines.
On this occasion, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, expressed pride in the university’s significant contributions to the healthcare system in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
He affirmed that AGU’s outputs support the realisation of the noble visions of the GCC leaders. He also commended the university’s sustained support and care at all levels, which has solidified its status as a distinguished symbol and beacon of academic excellence in the medical and health sciences.
It is worth noting that since its establishment, AGU has contributed a total of 3,746 medical graduates to the healthcare sectors across the GCC. In addition, the university has graduated 2,006 individuals with higher diplomas, master’s, and doctoral degrees, who have supported the region’s development journey in the fields of education, innovation and technology management, environmental sciences and life sciences.
