Saudi Minister of Education Meets Saudi Students Studying at the Arabian Gulf University

His Excellency Mr Yousef bin Abdullah Al Benyan, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, recently met with Saudi students studying at the Arabian Gulf University. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, as well as His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the Arabian Gulf University, at the Princess Al Jawhara bint Ibrahim Al Ibrahim Centre for Molecular Medicine, Genetics and Hereditary Diseases.

During the meeting, which was attended by a number of officials from the Higher Education Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain, vice presidents of the university, and deans, the Saudi Minister of Education listened to the students’ experiences studying across various academic disciplines in the Kingdom of Bahrain. They expressed their appreciation for the significant support they receive from Bahraini higher education officials, reflecting the distinguished historical relationship between the two sisterly kingdoms. The Minister also shared a range of practical experiences and insights with the students.

Additionally, His Excellency Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma welcomed the Saudi students to their second homeland, Bahrain, and provided an overview of the key programmes and development projects in education at both the school and higher education levels.
