Arabian Gulf University (AGU) has obtained the respective (ISO 9001:2015) and (ISO 21001:2018) certificates for quality management systems and educational organisation management systems. This followed comprehensive auditing, inspection, testing and accreditation procedures, and review of all academic and administrative processes.

His Excellency the President of AGU, Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, attributed this achievement to the diligent efforts made by members of the academic and administrative bodies at the university to maintain sustainable international standards of educational process. He cited their professionalism in dealing with unexpected circumstances and implementing the best practices that enhance the university's readiness to confront potential risks, in line with its ambitious strategy.

He added, "Obtaining these two certificates proves AGU’s commitment to enhancing a flexible academic environment, keenness to ensure academic and administrative development, and readiness to manage risks. This confirms its prioritisation of students’ interests, as well as academics, and administrators, adding to the university's record of achievements and strengthening its leading position in the educational sector." He stressed the university's keenness to review its efficiency of performance, ensuring that operations are consistent with strategic plans and general directions of the quality policy.

It is noteworthy that the ISO certificate issued by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is an internationally recognised standard for excellence and organisations’ commitment to quality, satisfaction, and sustainable improvement. AGU’s acquisition of this certification reflects its success in implementing the modern administrative quality management system and its continuous support for the culture of organisational excellence.
