
CEO of the University Medical Centre Commends the Role of Bahraini Women as Influential Partners in the Kingdom’s Comprehensive Development Journey

Dr Salman Hamad Al Zayani, CEO of the University Medical Centre at King Abdullah Medical City, praised the remarkable achievements and exceptional gains achieved by Bahraini women across various fields and sectors. He attributed these successes to the wise vision and support received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the continuous support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). This support has enabled women to demonstrate their competence and capability, positioning them as worthy strategic partners in the comprehensive development journey of the nation.
Speaking during the University Medical Centre’s celebration of Bahraini Women's Day, themed “Women: Worthy Partners in Building the State”, Dr Al Zayani affirmed the effectiveness of national plans and strategies supporting Bahraini women. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts and significant successes achieved by women across various sectors, particularly in the medical field, which have established the Kingdom of Bahrain as a model for women's advancement on all fronts. He also reiterated the University Medical Centre's commitment to continuing support for women's competencies and providing all necessary assistance to enhance their roles in the medical sector effectively and efficiently.
Furthermore, he commended the substantial efforts made by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa in advancing the journey of Bahraini women towards new horizons of excellence and leadership at various levels. He also congratulated all Bahraini women, praising their dedication to work and their contributions to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development journey.
