AGU Hosts Annual Ramadan Majlis to Promote Dialogue and Community Engagement

The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) recently hosted its annual Ramadan Majlis at its campus in Manama, gathering several high-ranking officials, including His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health. The event was attended by ministers, ambassadors, community leaders, as well as members of the academic and administrative staff, and university students.
Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the University, welcomed all guests, expressing gratitude for their participation in the gathering which embodies the spirit of the holy month and affirms the values of communication and social cohesion within Gulf society. The Ramadan Majlis provides an annual platform to strengthen relationships between the university and its partners from various sectors, fostering a friendly environment conducive to dialogue and the exchange of ideas, reflecting the special nature of this blessed month.
His Excellency also reflected on the longstanding tradition of Ramadan gatherings which strengthen the university’s presence within its community, bolstering ties with official bodies and solidifying collaborative relationships. These events enhance communication between academic leaders and guests from various sectors, facilitating the exchange of perspectives on areas of mutual interest.
The majlis was marked by a warm and engaging Ramadan atmosphere, with attendees expressing appreciation for the university’s initiative. They acknowledged the role of the event in providing an open forum reinforcing the values of communication embodied by the blessed month.
