The Child and Family Health Campaign, organised by students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Arabian Gulf University (AGU), successfully concluded at The Avenues Mall. The initiative aimed to raise health awareness, featuring multiple educational stations providing information on children's eye health and the impact of screens, as well as booths designed for children to encourage healthy lifestyles from an early age, and workshops on proper nutrition.

Dr Aseel Al Saleh, Dean of Student Affairs at AGU, commended the initiative’s success, stating, "We are proud of our students' initiatives, which exemplify social responsibility and community service. This campaign, focused on maternal and family health, was supported by His Excellency Dr Saad Al Fuhaid, President of the University, who encouraged the efforts of our students in person. The volunteers delivered impactful awareness messages promoting the health and well-being of children and families.”

Student Dana Mohammed Al Anzi, Chair of the Organising Committee, explained that the campaign was organised by ten students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and executed by over 180 volunteers. The campaign aimed to reinforce the role of families in supporting children's health and to create an engaging environment that promotes healthy behaviours through interactive and enjoyable activities.

The campaign targeted around 600 beneficiaries, providing them with valuable information on topics including diabetes, autism, dental and eye health, and healthy nutrition.
